The paper deals with a free boundary problem for a system of two nonlinear reaction-diffusion equations. This problem is a mathematical model of a necrotic tumor and has two free boundaries of different types: the outer free boundary of the tumor, on which the Stefan condition is set, and the boundary of the necrotic core, which is of obstacle-type. The unknowns are the nutrient concentration and the internal pressure. In a small neighborhood of the radially symmetric stationary solution, the problem is reduced to the Cauchy problem for an abstract parabolic equation. The spectrum of the linearized problem is studied. The asymptotic stability of the radially symmetric stationary solution is proved.
