This paper deals with the inverse eigenvalue problem for a nonlocal Sturm-Liouville operator generated by its rank one perturbations. The authors give a necessary and sufficient condition such that a sequence of real numbers is the spectrum of a nonlocal Sturm-Liouville operator if the potential is known a priori. Finally, an explicit algorithm for constructing all such operators is also provided. The results are interesting and valuable to study the related inverse spectral problems.
