The author presents a brief survey about the theory of stability of weakly hyperbolic invariant sets. He points out that the uniqueness of leaves of a weakly hyperbolic invariant sets of a perturbed system remains an open problem, connected to the so-called plaque expansivity conjecture in the theory of dynamical systems.
