This article studies the problem of fair allocation of a perfectly divisible good among agents with single-peak preferences where an extension of the uniform reallocation rule is proposed. The authors begin with an overview of the literature and the necessary background notions including envy-freeness, individual rationality, efficiency and fairness. The main concept, referred to as the gross uniform reallocation rule, is then presented and its properties are examined and proven. The article concludes with a list of relevant references.
