Recall that a compact space is \textit{semi-Eberlein}, if there exists a homeomorphic embedding \(h:K\to \mathbb{R}^I\) such that \(h^{-1}(c_0(I))\) is dense in \(K\). In Theorem 2.7 the authors characterize semi-Eberlein compacta in terms of inverse limits. Next, they investigate a proper subclass of semi-Eberlein compacta of weight \(\omega_1\), denoted by \(RS\), which consists of compact spaces of weight \(\omega_1\) which are inverse limits of a continuous inverse system of compact metric spaces whose bonding maps are semi-open retractions. Some stability results and examples concerning the class \(RS\) are provided.
