The paper studies of system of parabolic type for an SEIR model (susceptible-exposed-infected-recovered), where the source term \(f\) depends only on \(S\) and \(I\) and the equation for \(R\) is decoupled from the three first equations. The system is subject to Neumann boundary conditions and continuous initial conditions. Under a boundedness condition on \(f\), the authors prove the boundedness, the decay, and the convergence of a solution \((S,E,I)\) by using a Lyapunov functional.
