Let \(k\) be a field and \(\mathcal{C}\) be a \(k\)-linear Hom-finite Krull-Schmidt additive category. For any indecomposable object \(X\), denote by \(\text{Supp}\ \mathcal{C}(X,-)\) (resp. \(\text{Supp}\ \mathcal{C}(-,X)\)) the full subcategory of \(\mathcal{C}\) generated by indecomposable objects \(Y\) with \(\mathcal{C}(X,Y)\neq0\) (resp. \(\mathcal{C}(Y,X)\neq0\)). The category \(\mathcal{C}\) is called locally finite if both \(\text{Supp}\ \mathcal{C}(X,-)\) and \(\text{Supp}\ \mathcal{C}(-,X)\) contain only finitely many indecomposable objects for any indecomposable object \(X\). Xiao and Zhu showed that if a triangulated category \(\mathcal{C}\) is locally finite, then \(\mathcal{C}\) has Auslander-Reiten triangles [\textit{B. Zhu} and \textit{X. Zhuang}, J. Algebra 574, 206--232 (2021; Zbl 1462.18003)]. Recently, Zhu and Zhuang proved that if an extriangulated category \(\mathcal{C}\) is locally finite, then \(\mathcal{C}\) has Auslander-Reiten \(\mathbb{E}\)-triangles [\textit{B. Zhu} and \textit{X. Zhuang}, J. Algebra 574, 206--232 (2021; Zbl 1462.18003)]. The paper under review is to show that if a \((d+2)\)-angulated category \(\mathcal{C}\) is locally finite, then \(\mathcal{C}\) has Auslander-Reiten \((d+2)\)-angles. The proof is an adaption of the proof given in [\textit{B. Zhu} and \textit{X. Zhuang}, J. Algebra 574, 206--232 (2021; Zbl 1462.18003)]. In the reviewer's opinion, the proof seems a little lengthy.
