      Let \(\kappa\) be the successor of a regular uncountable cardinal \(\nu\). It is shown that the existence of a nonreflecting stationary subset of \(\kappa\) consisting of ordinals of cofinality less than \(\nu\) implies that \(Pr_1 (\kappa, \kappa, \kappa, \nu)\) holds (which means that there exists \(c : \kappa \times \kappa \rightarrow \kappa\) with the property that for any \(\alpha < \kappa\) and any size \(\kappa\), pairwise disjoint \(F \subseteq \{A \subseteq \kappa : 0 < \vert A \vert < \nu \}\), one may find \(A_0, A_1 \in F\) such that \(\sup A_0 < \min A_1\) and \(c\) takes the constant value \(\alpha\) on \(A_0 \times A_1\)).
