The well-known Brunn-Minkowski inequality states that for nonempty bounded measurable sets \(K,L\subset\mathbb{R}^n\) such that \(K+L\) (which is defined by \(K+ L=\{ x+y: x\in K,\,y\in L\}\)) is also measurable, then the volume satisfies \[ V( K+ L)^{\frac{1}{n}}\geq V( K )^{\frac{1}{n}}+V( L)^{\frac{1}{n}} \] with equality if and only if \(K\) and \(L\) are homothetic. The Brunn-Minkowski inequality is a fundamental inequality in convex geometry and many other versions have been discovered. The Brunn-Minkowski inequality in Gauss space was first studied by \textit{A. Ehrhard} [Math. Scand. 53, 281--301 (1983; Zbl 0542.60003)] which is now known as Ehrhard's inequality. The dimensional Brunn-Minkowski inequality in Gauss space was posed by \textit{R. J. Gardner} and \textit{A. Zvavitch} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 362, No. 10, 5333--5353 (2010; Zbl 1205.52002)] where they conjectured that for convex bodies \(K,L \subset\mathbb{R}^n\) containing the origin in their interiors, then the Gaussian probability measure \(\gamma_n\) satisfies \[ \gamma_n( (1-t)K+ tL)^{\frac{1}{n}}\geq (1-t)\gamma_n( K )^{\frac{1}{n}}+t\gamma_n( L)^{\frac{1}{n}}. \] A concrete example provided by \textit{P. Nayar} and \textit{T. Tkocz} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 141, No. 11, 4027--4030 (2013; Zbl 1305.52017)] shows that the inequality conjectured by Gardner and Zvavitch [loc. cit.] does not hold for the class of convex bodies containing the origin in their interiors. In the present paper, the authors prove that the Gaussian probability measure \(\gamma_n\) enjoys \(\frac{1}{2n}\)-concavity with respect to the Minkowski addition of origin-symmetric convex sets.
