This work is an important and interesting research for experts on several areas, like theory of inverse semigroup, rings of operators etc. It is well known for semigroup theorists that one can define naturally an inverse semigroup \(I(\Gamma)\) with \(0\) for every digraph \(\Gamma\). Recent ring theoretic study of Leavitt path algebra \(L_F(\Gamma)\) induced by \(\Gamma\) with coefficients in a field \(F\) underlines the role of semigroup theoretic methods in the structural investigation of graph algebras. This nice article shows that the multiplicative subsemigroup \(LI(\Gamma)\) of \(L_F(\Gamma)\) generated by both real and ghost paths of non-negative length is, in fact, a proper factor of \(I(\Gamma)\) with a description of relations and the associated congruence. The most important result is Theorem 6.12 describing digraphs with isomorphic Leavitt inverse semigroups. The remainder of Section 6 discusses further structural consequence of this nice result for Leavitt path algebras.
