Bohr-Fourier series on solenoids via its transversal variation (Q2238561)

The authors prove that every \(\mathbb{Z}\)-invariant function on a one-dimensional solenoid has a Bohr-Fourier series expansion like that for almost periodic functions on \(\mathbb {R}\). Bohr's notion of mean value, Parseval's identity, the Fourier exponents and the Fourier coefficients for almost periodic functions on \(\mathbb {R}\) are extended to \(\mathbb{Z}\)-invariant functions on one-dimensional solenoids.
