A complete intersection \(X_n\) is the transverse intersection of \(r\) hypersurfaces in \(\mathbb{C} P^{n+r}\). These are complex manifolds of complex dimension \(n\). For almost complex manifolds \(M\) of real dimension \(2n\) with first Chern class divisible by \(N\), one can define the elliptic genus of level \(N\) of \(M\). This is a modular form of weight \(n\) on some congruence subgroup \(\Gamma_1(N)\) of \(SL_2(\mathbb{Z})\). In the paper under review the values of the elliptic genera of level \(N\) of complete intersections at some cusps of \(\Gamma_1(N)\) are computed. Moreover, formulas for the Todd genus and \(A_k\)-genera of complete intersections are given. These computations and formulas depend on whether the first Chern class of the complete intersection is positive, negative, or zero.
