Through \textit{E. K. Sklyanin}'s work on quantum integrable systems, he introduced \(4\)-dimensional Sklyanin algebras and studied their representations with applications to the quantum inverse problem method in quantum and statistical mechanics in [Funct. Anal. Appl. 17, 273--284 (1983; Zbl 0536.58007); translation from Funkts. Anal. Prilozh. 17, No. 4, 34--48 (1983)]. Since then, higher dimensional Sklyanin algebras were constructed, which have appeared in deformation-quantization, noncommutative geometry, quantum groups and \(R\)-matrices. Furthermore, Sklyanin algebras play an important role in the Artin-Schelter-Tate-van den Bergh's classification of noncommutative projective spaces and in \textit{B. L. Feigin} and \textit{A. V. Odesskij}'s investigation of elliptic algebras [Transl. Math. Monogr. 185, 65--84 (1998; Zbl 0916.16014)]. Let \(S\) be a 4-dimensional Sklyanin (elliptic) algebra that is module-finite over its center \(Z\). The authors construct a Poisson \(Z\)-order structure on \(S\) such that the induced Poisson bracket on its center is nonvanishing (Corollary 7.6, page 46). The authors also provide an explicit Jacobian structure of the Poisson bracket, leading to a description of the symplectic core decomposition of the maximal spectrum \(Y\) of \(Z\) (Section 7, page 43). They then classify the irreducible representations of \(S\) using the geometry of the Poisson order structures with algebro-geometric methods for the elliptic curve attached to \(S\), along with representation-theoretic methods using line and fat point modules of \(S\) (Section 8, page 46). Along the way, the authors improve results of \textit{S. P. Smith} and \textit{J. Tate} [\(K\)-Theory 8, No. 1, 19--63 (1994; Zbl 0809.16053)], obtaining a description the singular locus of \(Y\) for such \(S\) (Theorem 1.2 on page 5; also see Theorem 8.1 on page 46 and Proposition 8.8 on page 48).
