For a given solution~\((X,\sigma,\tau)\) of the Yang-Baxter equation (YBE), its \textit{permutation group} \(\mathcal{G}(X)\) is the subgroup of the symmetric group \(S(X)\) generated by mappings \(\sigma_x\), with \(x\in X\) and a solution is \textit{indecomposable} if the permutation group \(\mathcal{G}(X)\) acts transitively on \(X\). In [Adv. Math. 193, 40--55 (2005; Zbl 1074.81036)], \textit{W. Rump} showed that there is a one-to-one correspondence between involutive non-degenerate solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation and non-degenerate \textit{cycle-sets}. Leter on \textit{L. Vendramin} developed in [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 220, 2064--2076 (2016; Zbl 1337.16028)] a theory of new class of solutions called \textit{dynamical extensions of finite cycle sets}. In the paper the authors continue their investigations of indecomposable involutive non-degenerate solutions of YBE initiated among others in [\textit{M. Castelli} et al., J. Pure Appl. Algebra 223, 4477--4493 (2016; Zbl 1412.16023)] and in [\textit{M. Castelli} et al., Comm. Algebra 48, 1941--1955 (2020; Zbl 1481.16043)]. At first part of the paper they describe finite uniconnected cycle sets of arbitrary cardinality and with nilpotent permutation group applying results of \textit{W. Rump} [Forum Math. 32(4), 891--903 (2020; Zbl 1446.16041)] and \textit{A. Smoktunowicz} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 370(9), 6535--6564 (2018; Zbl 1440.16040)]. Next they give a characterization of so called \textit{constant orthogonal dynamical extensions} and note that in fact they are special kind of semidirect product of (indecomposable) cycle sets defined by \textit{W. Rump} [J. Algebra Appl. 7(4), 471--490 (2008; Zbl 1153.81505)]. Moreover, they present a method how to obtain such extensions from left braces having a finite transitive cycle base. Next they use constant orthogonal dynamical extensions of indecomposable cycle sets to construct some families of indecomposible solutions of YBE of multipermutational level greater than 2 and with the permutation group isomorphic to \(\mathbb{Z}_{p^{2k}}\times \mathbb{Z}_{p^{2s}}\), for some \(k,s\in \mathbb{N}\). They also provide an example of indecomposable cycle set obtained as a constant orthogonal dynamical extension which does not have finite multipermutational level.
