The theory of Hankel operators on Hardy space is by now classical. There is still a lot of research going on this field. The characterization of bounded Hankel operators on the Hardy space is due to \textit{Z. Nehari} [Ann. Math. (2) 65, 153--162 (1957; Zbl 0077.10605)]. The compactness of Hankel operators on the Hardy space is give by \textit{P. Hartman} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 9, 862--866 (1959; Zbl 0090.09203)]. The article under review is a continuation of \textit{K. Leśnik} [Stud. Math. 249, No. 2, 163--192 (2019; Zbl 07118348)]. The paper is devoted to the study os compactness of Hankel operators acting between distinct Hardy spaces generated by Banach function lattices. The main result is an analogue of the Hartman's theorem, but fitted for non-algebraic setting.
