This paper studies an anomalous information diffusion model in social networks, where super-diffusion and sub-diffusion are considered. The framework is on the basis of the logistic diffusion mechanism and incorporates two processes, namely the fractional diffusion process and the fractional growth process modeled by fractional partial differential equations with logistic systems. The Neumann boundary condition and Fick's law is considered for the partial differential equations. The system can be numerically analyzed by using time discretization and space discretization with the aid of Haar wavelets. The model relies on an application of continuous-time random walk with jump. Some real world networks are used to validate the proposed model. Those networks include Digg and Twitter.
