On a system of two high-order nonlinear difference equations (Q2248383)

Summary: This paper is concerned with dynamics of the solution to the system of two high-order nonlinear difference equations \(x_{n+1} = x_{n-k}/(q+ \prod^k_{i=0}y_{n-i})\), \(y_{n+1} = y_{n-k}/(p + \prod^k_{i=0}x_{n-i})\), \(k \in N^+\), \(n = 0, 1,\dots\), where \(p\), \(q \in (0,\infty)\), \(x_{-i} \in (0,\infty)\), \(y_{-i} \in (0,\infty)\) and \(i = 0, 1,\dots, k\). Moreover the rate of convergence of a solution that converges to the equilibrium \((0, 0)\) of the system is discussed. Finally, some numerical examples are considered to show the results obtained.
