Dynamics of a higher-order system of difference equations (Q2398572)

Summary: Consider the following system of difference equations: \(\left\{x_{n + 1}^{(i)} = x_{n - m + 1}^{(i)} / \left(A_i \prod_{j = 0}^{m - 1} x_{n - j}^{(i + j + 1)} + \alpha_i\right)\right.\), \(x_{n + 1}^{(i + m)} = x_{n + 1}^{(i)}\), \(x_{1 - l}^{(i + l)} = a_{i, l}\), \(A_{i + m} = A_i\), \(\alpha_{i + m} = \alpha_i\left.\right\}\), \(i, l = 1,2, \ldots, m\); \(n = 0,1, 2, \ldots\), where \(m\) is a positive integer, \(A_i, \alpha_i\), \(i = 1,2, \ldots, m\), and the initial conditions \(a_{i, l}\), \(i, l = 1,2, \ldots, m\), are positive real numbers. We obtain the expressions of the positive solutions of the system and then give a precise description of the convergence of the positive solutions. Finally, we give some numerical results.
