A fixed point result for multivalued mappings due to \textit{S.-H. Cho} and \textit{J.-S. Bae} [Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2011, Article ID 87, 7 p. (2011; Zbl 1291.54054)] is extended from cone metric spaces to cone \(b\)-metric spaces in the sense of \textit{N. Hussain} and \textit{M. H. Shah} [Comput. Math. Appl. 62, No. 4, 1677--1684 (2011; Zbl 1231.54022)]. An example is given to support the result.
