Let \(\mathbb{B}_n\) be the unit ball in \(\mathbb{C}^n\). A positive continuous function \(\mu\) is normal on \([0,1)\) if there are constants \(0<a<b<\infty\) and \(0\leq r_0<1\) such that {\parindent=6mm \begin{itemize} \item[(i)] \(\frac{\mu(r)}{(1-r^2)^a}\) is decreasing on \([r_0,1)\) and \(\lim_{r\to 1^-}\frac{\mu(r)}{(1-r^2)^a}=0\);\item [(ii)] \(\frac{\mu(r)}{(1-r^2)^b}\) is increasing on \([r_0,1)\) and \(\lim_{r\to 1^-}\frac{\mu(r)}{(1-r^2)^b}=\infty\). \end{itemize}} A holomorphic function on the unit ball \(\mathbb{B}_n\) belongs to the \(\mu\)-Zygmund space \(Z_{\mu}(\mathbb{B}_n)\) if \[ \left\| f\right\|_{\mu}:=\sup_{z\in\mathbb{B}_n} \mu(\left| z\right|) \sum_{j,k=1}^n \left| \frac{\partial^2 f}{\partial z_j\partial z_k}(z)\right|<\infty. \] The space \(Z_{\mu}(\mathbb{B}_n)\) is a Banach space under the norm \(\left\| f\right\|_{Z_\mu}=\left| f(0)\right|+\sum_{k=1}^{n} \left| \frac{\partial f}{\partial z_k}(0)\right|+\left\| f\right\|_{\mu}\). A characterization of the space \(Z_\mu\) is given in terms of gradients and radial derivatives. The tools developed in the paper are then used to solve Gleason's problem for \(Z_{\mu}(\mathbb{B}_n)\). In particular, it is shown that, for a normal function \(\mu\) on \([0,1)\) and any \(w\in\mathbb{B}_n\), there exist bounded linear operators \(A_k\) on \(Z_{\mu}(\mathbb{B}_n)\) so that, for any \(f\in Z_{\mu}(\mathbb{B}_n)\) with \(f(w)=0\), \[ f(z)=\sum_{k=1}^n (z_k-w_k) A_k(f)(z). \]
