The paper addresses a modification of a mathematical model of the tumor growth of the Hele-Shaw type. In addition to previously studied ingredients, active motion of cancer cells is taken into regard. The results demonstrate a smoother pattern of the cell density, and elucidate how the mobility of the cells facilitates tumor invasion of healthy tissues.
