Let \(G\) be a discrete group and let \(X\) and \(Y\) be topological spaces. Let \(\mathcal A\) and \(\mathcal B\) be two subgroups of \(G\)-valued continuous functions defined on the spaces \(X\) and \(Y\). A group isomorphism \(H: {\mathcal A}\mapsto {\mathcal B}\) is represented as a weighted composition operator when there is a homeomorphism \(h: Y\mapsto X\) and a continuous map \(\omega: Y\mapsto Aut(G)\) such that \((Hf)(y)=\omega[y](f(h(y))\), \(f\in {\mathcal A}\), \(y\in Y\). A group isomorphism \(H: {\mathcal A}\mapsto {\mathcal B}\) is called separating when, for each pair of maps \(f,g\in {\mathcal A}\) satisfying that \(f^{-1}(e_G)\cup g^{-1}(e_G)=X\), it holds that \((Hf)^{-1}(e_G)\cup (Hg)^{-1}(e_G)=Y\). In the paper under review the authors prove that if \(X\) and \(Y\) are \(0\)-dimensional compact spaces, then under some mild conditions every biseparating isomorphism \(H: {\mathcal A}\mapsto {\mathcal B}\) can be represented as a weighted composition operator.
