This paper studies the initial value problem for a coupled Camassa-Holm system, \[ \begin{aligned} m_t &=2mu_x+m_xu+(mv)_x+nv_x,\\ n_t &=2nv_x+n_xv+(nu)_x+mu_x,\end{aligned} \] where \(m=u-u_{xx}\) and \(n=v-v_{xx}\). The spatial domain is taken to be the real line. This coupled Camassa-Holm system is known to posess peakon traveling waves. The author proves that this system is locally well-posed in the Besov space \(B^{3/2}_{2,1}\times B^{3/2}_{2,1}\). The author also shows that the initial value problem is not locally well-posed in the Besov space \(B^{3/2}_{2,\infty}\times B^{3/2}_{2,\infty}\). This leaves open the question of well-posedness in the Besov spaces which are inbetween those of the author's results.
