Stable quasiorderings on some permutable inverse monoids. (Q2260816)

For a transformation group \(G\) on a finite set \(M\) the author studies the inverse semigroup \(I(G)\) which consists of all partial transformations on \(M\) that are extendable to a transformation in \(G\). The paper provides some necessary and sufficient condition for \(I(G)\) to be \textit{permutable} in the sense that each pair of congruences on \(I(G)\) commutes. If the latter is the case, all congruences on \(I(G)\) are described. Finally, the author also describes the stable orderings on \(I(A_n)\), where \(A_n\) is the alternating group.
