The additive Abelian group G is said to be factored by its subsets A and B if each g in G is uniquely expressible in the form \(g=a+b\), \(a\in A\), \(b\in B\). The following conjectures were suggested by K. Corrádi and A. D. Sands respectively: If the finite Abelian group G is factored by its subsets A and B with zero element, must one of the factors contain (be contained in) some proper subgroup of G? In this paper the author disproves the conjectures above.
