Differential calculus on compact quantum group \(U_\vartheta (2)\) and its applications (Q2269614)

The quantum group \(U_q (2)\) (for a non-null complex number \(q\)) was introduced in [\textit{X.-X.\ Zhang} and \textit{E.\,Y.-W.\ Zhao}, Linear Algebra Appl.\ 408, 244--258 (2005; Zbl 1093.46042)]. In this paper the special case of \(U_\vartheta (2)\) is considered, where \(\vartheta \) is an irrational number. The author constructs a differential calculus on \(U_\vartheta (2)\), explores its corepresentations and explicitly gives the Peter-Weil theorem for \(U_\vartheta (2)\).
