In this paper, the authors consider the following Lienard-type system: \[ \begin{aligned} &a(u'(t))'+\frac{d}{dt}\nabla G(u(t))\in A(u(t))+f(t,u(t))\quad\text{ for a.a. } t\in T=[0,b], \\ &u\in BC,\end{aligned} \] where \(a: \mathbb{R}^N\to \mathbb{R}^N\) is a nonhomogeneous homeomorphism, \(G\in C^2(\mathbb{R}^N,\mathbb{R}),\) \(A: \mathbb{R}^N\to 2^{\mathbb{R}^N}\) is a maximal monotone map and \(f: T\times \mathbb{R}^N\to \mathbb{R}^N\) is a Carathéodory perturbation. Here, \(u\in BC\) means that \(u\) satisfies one of the Dirichlet, Neumann or periodic boundary conditions. By using the Leray-Schauder alternative principle and the theory of nonlinear operators of monotone type, existence results are proved, imposing on \(f\) Hartman-type condition instead of global growth condition.
