It is shown that the solution of the problem for optimal running to infinity determines the asymptotic behaviour of the trajectories in the time-optimum problems for distant targets. It is proved that the optimal trajectories wind round a cone and move away from it in the target area. A specific family of three-dimensional linear-in-control systems is studied.
