The authors describe a database model for geometric entities composed of linear elements of varying dimensions. The bodies described need not be manifolds (nor pseudomanifolds, a useful category not usually recognized by CAD workers); intersections are computed from dimension 0 upward. Some examples are given (as usual without discussion of any code).
