Let \({\mathcal F}(A,B)\) denote the cone of all CP linear maps between the Banach spaces of trace class operators \({\mathcal T}(H_A)\) into \({\mathcal T}(H_B)\). This is usually considered with the diamond norm metric, under which it is not a complete cone. For reasons explained in the introduction of the paper, the author considers, for a discrete unbounded operator \(G\), the energy constrained diamond norm (ECD). The completion of this cone as well as the set \({\mathcal F}_G(A,B)\) are described.
