    This paper deals with the generalized cross-coupled Camassa-Holm system \[ \begin{cases} m_t +v^pm_x +av^{p-1}v_x m=0,&\quad t>0,\,x\in\mathbb{R},\\ n_t +u^qn_x +bu^{q-1}u_xn=0,&\quad t>0,\,x\in\mathbb{R},\\ u(0,x) = u_0(x),\> v(0,x) = v_0(x),&\quad x\in\mathbb{R}, \end{cases} \] where \(m = u - u_{xx},\, n = v - v_{xx},\, p,\, q \in\mathbb{N},\,a,\, b\in\mathbb{R}\). The authors prove the local in time well-posedness in \(H^s\times H^s\) with \(s>5/2\); the continuous dependence on the initial data; the Hölder continuity of the data-solution map.
