The authors complete results by \textit{J. Bonet} et al. [Integral Equations Oper. Theory 65, No. 2, 195--210 (2009; Zbl 1193.47030)] on the components of the set \(\mathfrak C(H^\infty_\nu)\) of nonzero (weighted) composition operators (endowed with the operator norm) on the spaces \(H^\infty_\nu=\{f\in H(\mathbb D): ||f||_\nu=\sup |f(z)|/\nu(z)<\infty\}\), where \(\nu\) runs through a class of radial log-convex weights. For instance, the set \([C_\phi]=\{C_\psi: C_\psi-C_\phi \;\mathrm{compact}\}\) is path-connected in \(\mathfrak C(H^\infty_\nu)\), though not a component in general. The non weighted case in \(H^\infty(\mathbb D)\) was treated by \textit{B. MacCluer} et al. [Integral Equations Oper. Theory 40, No. 4, 481--494 (2001; Zbl 1062.47511)]. Also, if \(\phi_j\) are holomorphic self-maps of \(\mathbb D\) and \(\kappa_j\in H(\mathbb D)\), then the compactness of \(C_{\phi_1}-C_{\phi_2} \) on \(H^\infty_\nu\) implies that the weighted composition operators \(W_{\kappa_j,\phi_j}: f\mapsto \kappa_j (f\circ \phi_j)\), \(j=1,2\), belong to the same component in the space \(\mathfrak C(H^\infty_\nu)\).
