The paper brings a systematic comparative analysis of two important frameworks dealing with rigorous approaches of perturbative quantum field theory, namely, the perturbative algebraic quantum field theory and the factorization algebras framework developed by Costello and Gwilliam. It presents a formal well performed investigation showing the existence of an interconnection between the two aforementioned formalisms. The analysis has a precise method, starting raising agreements as well as differences between them with a special eye to the observable structure arising in both cases. The presented comparison of the two formalisms is, in my opinion, more than a comparative analysis, it is an important landmark building a truly bridge between them.
