The authors propose a global strategy to derive null-homotopy operators for differential complexes based on the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand construction and properties of the de Rham complex. They especially focus on 3D and 2D elasticity complex. They start recalling the expression of the Poincaré operator \(\mathfrak{p}\) with respect to the origin on \(k\)-forms and that of the three 3D Poincaré operators in vector form together with their properties. The main results of the paper present the expressions of the Poincaré and Koszul operators for the elasticity complex and their properties. For the proofs, the authors recall the derivation of the elasticity complex from the de Rham complex through the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand construction and they derive explicit Poincaré path integrals for the elasticity complex. As a consequence, they obtain the Cesàro-Volterra path integral. The paper ends with the analysis of the 2D elasticity complex.
