The author considers families of dimension 2 linear systems of ordinary differential equations with an isolated pole of order 2 (i.e. a Poincaré rank 1 singularity) at the origin. At this singularity the leading matrix is a Jordan block of size 2. The author describes the moduli space of analytic equivalence classes in terms of a tuple of formal invariants and a single analytic invariant obtained from the trace of monodromy. He provides analytic normal forms and explains by means of many figures the confluence of two simple (Fuchsian) singularities (i.e. logarithmic poles), the turning point phenomenon, the associated Stokes geometry and the change of order of Borel summability of formal solutions depending on a complex parameter.
