Let \(X\) be a complex normed space and \(x,y\in X\). We say that \(x\) and \(y\) are norm-parallel if \(\|x+\lambda y\|=\|x\|+\|y\|\) for some unimodular complex number \(\lambda\). In the paper under review, the authors give some characterizations of the norm-parallelism (i) of elements of a Hilbert \(\mathbb K(H)\)-module, and (ii) of ``compact'' operators on a Hilbert \(\mathbb K(H)\)-module.
