This article deals with error estimation and adaptivity for the \(p\)-Laplace operator in the range of finite \(p>2\) in two space dimensions. The authors consider conforming and nonconforming discretizations. They present a priori error estimates as well as reliable error estimators. The latter are used for adaptive mesh-refinement, which is validated in two numerical examples.
