The author considers a functional differential equation of the form \[\frac{dx}{dt}=Ax+y\] and achieves results of uniqueness of a solution which is almost periodic without using the \(\mathcal{H}\)-class of the equation \[\frac{dx}{dt}=Ax,\] i.e., the set of equations \(\frac{dx}{dt}=\tilde{A}x\), where \(\tilde{A}\in \mathcal{H}(A)\). Here \(A\in L(C^{0}, C^{0})\) is a linear almost periodic operator which is associate with the closure of the set \(\left\{S_{h}AS_{-h}: h\in\mathbb{R}\right\}\) in the space \(L(C^{0}, C^{0})\) denoted by \(\mathcal{H}(A)\), the space \(C^{0}\) is a Banach space of functions \(x:\mathbb{R}\rightarrow E: t\rightarrow x(t)\) bounded and continuous on \(\mathbb{R}\) with values in a Banach space \(E\), with norm \(||x||_{C^{0}}:=\mathrm{sup}\left\{||x(t)||_{E}: t\in\mathbb{R}\right\}\), and \(S_{h}\), \(h\in\mathbb{R}\), is a translation operator in \(C^{0}\) defined by \((S_{h}x)(t):=x(t+h)\), \(t\in\mathbb{R}\). In Theorem 7, which is the main result of the article, the author under a suitable assumption of compactness gives a necessary and sufficient condition so that the above functional-differential equation has a unique solution. In the opinion of the reviewer, the results ares very interesting since they contribute to the further understanding of the problem as studied by the author.
