Let \(d\gamma_k(x)\) be the standard Gaussian measure on \(\mathbb R^k\) given by \(d\gamma_k(x)=(2\pi)^{-k/2} e^{-|x|^2/2}\), \(|x|=\left(\sum^k_{i=1}|x_i|^2\right)^{1/2}\). Let \(\Delta\) be the Laplace operator, \(\nabla\) the nabla operator and \(L=\Delta-x\nabla\) be the generator of the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck semigroup. The main result of the paper is Theorem 10. For any \(k\geq 1\) and all polynomials \(P\) on \(\mathbb R^k\) one has the inequality \[\int_{\mathbb R^k}B(|LP(\mathbf{x})|)\,d\gamma_k(\mathbf{x})\leq \int_{\mathbb R^k}B(10(\deg P)^{\alpha_B}|P(x)|)\,d\gamma_k(\mathbf{x})\] for any function \(B\in C([0,\infty))\cap C^2((0,\infty))\) with \(B',B''>0\) such that for every \(x>0\) the condition \(\max(|B(x+t)|, B'(x+t), B''(x+t))<C(1+x^{2N})\) holds for each \(t>0\) and some \(C=C(t)\), \(N=N(t)\). Here \[\alpha_B=1+\frac{2}{\pi}\arctan\frac{1}{2}\left[\sup\limits_{s\in (0,\infty)}\left(\frac{sB''(x)}{B'(s)}+\frac{B'(s)}{sB''(x)}\right)-2\right]^{1/2}.\]
