Let \(E\) be an elliptic over \(\mathbb{Q}\) and for a prime \(p\), by \(E_{p}\) we denote the reduction of \(E\) modulo \(p\). For a given positive integer \(N\) let \(M_{E}(N)\) denotes the number of primes \(p\) of good reduction of \(E\) and such that the order of \(E_{p}(\mathbb{F}_{p})\) is equal to \(N\). The paper is devoted to the distribution of the probability of the event \(\{M_{E}(N)=l\}\), where \(l\) is a fixed positive integer. In an earlier paper, the author together with \textit{R. Balasubramanian} [Int. Math. Res. Not. 2016, No. 24, 7369--7389 (2016; Zbl 1404.11116)], proved that the sequence \((M_{E}(N))\) follows the Poisson distribution when an average is taken over a family of elliptic curves \(y^2=x^3+Ax+B\), with parameters \(A, B\in\mathbb{Z}\) satisfy the conditions \[ A, B\geq N^{\frac{l+1}{2}}(\log N)^{1+\gamma}\quad\mbox{and}\quad AB > N^{\frac{3(l+1)}{2}}(\log N)^{2+\gamma} \] for a positive integer \(l\) and any \(\gamma>0\). In the present paper the author improves the cited result by proving that similar statement holds for all sufficiently large \(N\) and \(A, B\) satisfying the conditions \[ \exp\left(N^{\frac{\varepsilon^{2}}{20(l+1)}}\right)\geq A, B\geq N^{\varepsilon}\quad\mbox{and}\quad AB\geq N^{\frac{3(l+1)}{2}}(\log N)^{3+2\gamma}(\log\log N)^{l+8} \] for any \(\varepsilon>0\).
