From the abstract: ``The objectives of this paper are to give a systematic investigation of extension theory of loops. A loop extension is (left, right or middle) nuclear, if the kernel of the extension consists of elements associating (from left, right or middle) with all elements of the loop.'' This paper is dedicated to the systematic investigation of the basic constructions of nonassociative extension theory using direct computational methods. The author studied in joint work with \textit{K. Strambach} [Czech. Math. J. 58, No. 3, 759--786 (2008; Zbl 1166.20058)] the Schreier extensions, i.e. they study systematically the natural generalization of Schreier's extension to obtain proper loops, and obtained characterizations and constructions of examples for interesting subclasses of such loops. It turned out that in this case the extension is middle and right nuclear. The non-associative extension theory of Schreier type is investigated by the author in a broader context in joint papers with \textit{I. Stuhl} [Commun. Algebra 40, No. 5, 1893--1900 (2012; Zbl 1252.20065)], and Strambach [loc. cit.]. Namely, they gave characterizations of some right nuclear extensions of groups by quasigroups with right identity element. The loop constructions by the author are illustrated by rich families of examples in important loop classes. In Section 2, the author study Albert extensions, and Section 3, he studies Schreier extensions.
