The authors show the existence of a unique classical solution to the Cauchy problem \[ \begin{cases} Lu + \sum_{i=1}^m\gamma_i\delta(x_i,t_i)u=f(x,t), \ \ (x,t)\in \mathbb{R}^n\times (0,T),\\ u(x,0)=\phi (x), \ \ x\in \mathbb{R}^n, \end{cases} \] where \(L\) is the parabolic operator \[ Lu=\frac{\partial u}{\partial t}-\sum_{i,j=1}^na_{ij}(x,t)\frac{\partial^2u}{\partial x_i \partial x_j}+ \sum_{j=1}^nb_j(x,t)\frac{\partial u}{\partial x_j}\, , \] and \(0< t_i < T\), \(x_i=(x_{1i},\dots,x_{ni})\in \mathbb{R}^n\), \(\gamma_i\in \mathbb{R}\setminus \{ 0 \}\), \(i=1,\dots,m\), with \(\sum_{i=1}^m \gamma_it_i \neq -1\). A similar existence and uniqueness result holds for the same equation with \((x,t)\in \Omega \times (0,T)\), \(0 < t_i < T\), \(x_i \in \Omega\), \(i=1,\dots,m\), with the Neumann boundary condition \(\partial u / \partial \nu =0\) and \(u(x,0)=\phi (x)\), \(x\in \Omega\).
