The notion of a Gerstenhaber-Voronov algebra, aka homotopy G-algebra (hGa in short), was introduced by \textit{A. A. Voronov} and \textit{M. Gerstenhaber} [Funct. Anal. Appl. 29, No. 1, 1--5 (1995; Zbl 0849.16010); translation from Funkts. Anal. Prilozh. 29, No. 1, 1--6 (1995)] as an additional structure on a dg algebra \((A, d, \cdot)\) that induces a Gerstenhaber algebra structure on the homology level (see also [\textit{T. Kadeishvili}, Prog. Math. 287, 181--199 (2011; Zbl 1255.16011)]). In greater detail, a Gerstenhaber-Voronov algebra \((A, d, \cdot,\{E_{1,k}\})\) is a dga \((A, d, \cdot)\) that additionally comes equipped with a sequence of operations \[\{E_{1,k} : A \otimes A^{\otimes k} \to A, k=1,2,\dots\}\] (sometimes called braces) satisfying certain coherence conditions. The main example of such an algebra comes from the Hochschild complex of an associative algebra A. In the paper under review, the authors prove the interesting result that the algebra of noncommutative differential forms, as defined in [\textit{A. Connes}, Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 62, 41--144 (1985; Zbl 0592.46056)], may be equipped with the structure of a Gerstenhaber-Voronov algebra.
