Summary: We introduce and study the derived moduli stack \(\mathbf{Symp}(X,n)\) of \(n\)-shifted symplectic structures on a given derived stack \(X\), as introduced in [\textit{T. Pantev} et al., Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 117, 271--328 (2013; Zbl 1328.14027)]. In particular, under reasonable assumptions on \(X\), we prove that \(\mathbf{Symp}(X,n)\) carries a canonical quadratic form, in the sense of \textit{G. Vezzosi} [Adv. Math. 301, 161--203 (2016; Zbl 1349.14063)]. This generalizes a classical result of \textit{J. Fricke} and \textit{L. Habermann} [Manuscr. Math. 109, No. 4, 405--417 (2002; Zbl 1027.53110)], which was established in the \(C^{\infty}\)-setting, to the broader context of derived algebraic geometry, thus proving a conjecture stated in [Vezzosi, loc. cit.].
