The author extends and improves the methodology for kernel-based function estimators described in his work [Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 47, No. 1, 226--234 (2019; Zbl 1415.41009)] by considering noisy/generalized data instead of noise-free/exact data. Representations of the considered estimators are derived, their convergence is analyzed, and error bounds are established. Finally, some examples of interpolations and collocations are presented.
