In the setting of the \(\mathrm{SU}(n)\)-Chern-Simons theory, a deformation quantization is obtained from the asymptotic properties of Toeplitz operators and the Hitchin connection. The aim of this paper is to extend parts of the previous theory to the case of \(\mathrm{SL}(n, \mathbb{C})\) using the viewpoint of geometric quantization as in \textit{E. Witten}'s approach from [Commun. Math. Phys. 137, 29--66 (1991; Zbl 0717.53074)]. More precisely, let \((\mathcal{M}, \omega )\) be a symplectic manifold endowed with an integrable almost complex structure which depends smoothly on a parameter from a complex manifold \(\mathcal{T}\). Given also a pre-quantum line bundle \(\mathcal{L}\) on \(\mathcal{M}\) one may define the trivial bundle \(\mathcal{H}:=L^2(\mathcal{M}, \mathcal{L}^k)\times \mathcal{T}\rightarrow \mathcal{T}\). Hence, a projectively flat connection is derived and called \textit{Hitchin-Witten} since it agrees with the one obtained by Witten in his 1991 paper. The main results are listed in the introduction and detailed in Section 4.
