Let \(X\) be a topological space and \(Y\) be a nonempty closed subset of a Banach space \(Z\). For \(x\in X\) let \(\mathcal{U}(x)\) be the family of all open neighborhoods of \(x\). For \(F:X\rightrightarrows Y\) and \(\varepsilon>0\) define the set-valued mapping \(F_{\varepsilon}:X\rightrightarrows Y\) by \(F_{\varepsilon}(x)=\bigcup_{U\in\mathcal{U}(x)}\bigcap_{x'\in U}F(x')-\varepsilon B^0\), where \(B^0\) designates the open unit ball in \(Z\). The set-valued mapping \(F\) is said to be weakly lower semicontinuous at \(x\in X\) if for every \(\varepsilon>0\) and for any open neighborhood \(V\) of \(x\) there exists \(x'\in V\) such that \(F(x')\subset F_{\varepsilon}(x)\). Before enunciating the main result of the paper we must mention that \(\mathrm{D}\) designates below the generalized Hausdorff distance in \(Z\). Theorem. Let \(X\) be a paracompact and perfectly normal topological space and \(Y\) be a nonempty closed subset of a Banach space. Assume that \(H:X\times Y\rightrightarrows Y\) is a set-valued mapping with nonempty closed and convex values satisfying the following conditions: (i) for all \(x\in X\), \(y_1,y_2\in Y\), \(\mathrm{D}(H(x,y_2),H(x,y_1))\leq ad(y_2,H(x,y_2))+bd(y_1,H(x,y_1))+c\|y_2-y_1\|\), where \(a\), \(b\), \(c\) are nonnegative and satisfy \(a+b+c<1\); (ii) the set-valued mappings \(H(x,\cdot)\), \(x\in X\), are equi-continuous w.r.t. \(\mathrm{D}\); (iii) for every \(y\in Y\), the set valued mapping \(H(\cdot, y)\) is weakly lower semicontinuous. Then there exists a continuous mapping \(\varphi:X\times Y\rightarrow Y\) such that \(\varphi(x,y)\in\text{ Fix}_H(x,\cdot)\) for every \((x,y)\in X\times Y\). Moreover, if there exists a continuous function \(m:X\times Y\rightarrow Y\) such that \(d(y,H(x,y))\leq m(x,y)\) for every \((x,y)\in X\times Y\) and \(d(y,H(x,y))=0\) iff \(m(x,y)=0\), then \(\varphi\) can be chosen so that \(\varphi (x,y)=y\) iff \(y\in\text{ Fix}_H(x, \cdot)\).
