This is a deep article which presents characterizations of bounded and compact weighted composition operators acting between two different general large Fock spaces \(\mathcal{F}^p_{\omega}\) and \(\mathcal{F}^q_{\omega}\) in several complex variables. The results depend on whether \(1 \leq p \leq q\) or \(1 \leq q < p\). In the case of Hilbert spaces, the Schatten class membership of the operators is characterized, too. The main results use certain integral transforms that generalize the usual Berezin transform. Some useful, necessary conditions for boundedness are given. In Section 2, after the preliminaries and background information, the authors present a covering lemma, which is similar to Oleinik's covering lemma in Bergman spaces, and other key lemmas that give estimates of the reproducing kernel of \(\mathcal{F}^2_{\omega}\). Section 3 defines and completely characterizes (vanishing) \(q\)-Carleson measures for \(\mathcal{F}^p_{\omega}\) for \(0 < p \leq \infty\) and \(0 < q < \infty\). The last three sections present the proofs of the main theorems.
