Let \(\mathbb{C}^n\) be the \(n\)-dimensional complex Euclidean space. Let \(\varphi \in C^2(\mathbb{C}^n)\) be given and satisfy, for positive constants \(m\) and \(M\), \[ 0<mw_0\leq d d^c \varphi\leq Mw_0, \] where \(d\) is the usual exterior derivative, \(d^c= \frac{i}{4}(\overline{\partial}-\partial)\), and \(w_0=dd^c |z|^2\) is the Euclidean Kähler form on \(\mathbb{C}^n\). For \(0<p<\infty\), the generalized Fock space \(F^{p}(\varphi)\) consists of all holomorphic functions \(f\) on \(\mathbb{C}^n\) such that \[ \|f\|_{p,\varphi}=\left(\int_{\mathbb{C}^n} |f(z)|^p e^{-p \varphi(z)} dv(z)\right)^{1/p}<\infty. \] If \(\varphi(z)=\frac{1}{2}|z|^2\), then \(F^p(\varphi)\) is the classical Fock space \(F^p\). For a Borel measure \(\mu\) on \(\mathbb{C}^n\), the Toeplitz operator \(T_{\mu}\) on \(F^{p}(\varphi)\) is defined as \[ T_{\mu}f(z)=\int_{\mathbb{C}^n} K_{\varphi}(z, w) f(w) e^{-2\varphi(w)} d\mu(w), \] where \(K_{\varphi}(\cdot, \cdot)\) is the Bergman kernel of \(F^{2}(\varphi)\). If \(d\mu(z)=g(z)dv(z)\), where \(g\) is a complex valued function, then the induced Toeplitz operator is denoted by \(T_g\). Let \(0< p, q<\infty\) and let \(\mu\geq 0\); we say that \(\mu\) is a \((p, q)\)-Fock Carleson measure if the embedding \(i: F^P(\varphi) \rightarrow L^q(\varphi, \mu)\) is bounded and we say that \(\mu\) is a vanishing \((p, q)\)-Fock Carleson measure if \(\displaystyle \lim_{j\rightarrow\infty} \int_{\mathbb{C}^n} |f_j(z) e^{-\varphi(z)}|^q d\mu(z)=0\) whenever \(\{f_j\}^{\infty}_{j=1}\) is bounded in \(F^p(\varphi)\) and converges to \(0\) uniformly on any compact subset of \(\mathbb{C}^n\). Let \(g\) be a measurable function and \(k_z(w)= e^{\langle w, z\rangle -\frac{1}{2} |z|^2}\), then the Berezin transform of \(g\) is defined as \[ \tilde{g}(z)=\int_{\mathbb{C}^n} g(w) \left|k_z(w) e^{-\frac{1}{2} |w|^2}\right|^2 dv(w). \] A Lebesgue measurable function \(g\) is said to be of \(BMO\) if \(g(\cdot)|k_z(\cdot)|^2 \in L^1(|w|^2)\) for all \(z\in\mathbb{C}^n\) and \[ \|g\|_{BMO}=\sup_{z\in\mathbb{C}^n} \|g(z-w) -\tilde{g}(z)\|_{1, |w|^2} <\infty. \] In the first part of the paper, using Carleson measure techniques, the authors characterize those positive Borel measures \(\mu\) for which the Toeplitz operators \(T_{\mu}\) are bounded and compact from \(F^p(\varphi)\) to \(F^q(\varphi)\) for all possible \(0< p, q<\infty\). In the second part of the paper, the authors consider Toeplitz operators \(T_g\) with \(BMO\) symbol \(g\) on the classical Fock space \(F^p\) for \(0<p<\infty\). The authors characterize the boundedness and compactness of \(T_g\) in terms of the Berezin transform \(\tilde{g}\), namely, they prove that \(T_g\) is bounded on \(F^p\) if and only if \(\tilde{g}\in L^{\infty}\); and that \(T_g\) is compact on \(F^p\) if and only if \(\lim_{z\rightarrow \infty}\tilde{g}(z)=0.\)
