The notion of externology in a topological space gives a generalization of the family of complements of closed compact subsets which may be used to construct the Alexandroff compactification. It enables the divergence of nets to be studied in terms of convergence to end point, and it can be used to think of a topological space as a limit of other topological spaces. In this paper the connections between exterior spaces and topological dynamics is briefly reviewed, and the notion of exterior discrete semi-flow is introduced and studied. A discrete topological semi-flow in the usual sense can be given such a structure, and the resulting notion of end points may be used to decompose the region of attraction of an exterior discrete semi-flow as a disjoint union of basins of end points.
